Casserole fest

Today was the casserole contest at Rustle. Christine (above) won the prize for the 'fastest eaten'.
Nicole (below) won the prize for 'most colourful'

Joanne won the prize for the 'tallest' and the "best in show" prize will be awarded next week.

Jan 3- Pearls' surprise

Jan 17- omelettes
Jan 31- casserolefest (contest!)
Feb 7- ground beef day
Feb 14- hearty soup
Feb 28 chillifest (contest!)
Mar 7- flapjacks
Mar 14- stew
Mar 28- lasagnafest (contest!)

For the contest days we need you to bring your best dishes to feed and compete.
For other days, you are welcome to bring anything that might complement the days' menu!

Rustle meets Santa

Christmas dinner

December 24th from 4-6pm join us for a Christmas dinner with all the fixings at 65 Russell St. (Rustle!)

Helpshops

This Sunday (Nov 8th) there will be an Anger Helpshop at 6:30pm at Rustle. This would be for help dealing with anger, not help getting angry, I believe.

Then on Sunday Nov 29th there will be a Helpshop on Parenting also starting at 6:30pm.

Thursday evenings at 7pm there is a small group that meets at Rustle.

You are welcome to attend any or all of these!

Reminders from Sam:

-books for Bob's book sale will still be out and made available for one more sunday....bring some bags.... ;)

-there will be no meal this week at the ranch, be prepared and spread the word.

-please don't forget to change your clocks tonight. we are going to be an hour
behind, or else you'll be early which is never really a bad thing i guess.

-there will be a special WITH meeting this sunday after the service. The topic is
kids for all who are interested. originally scheduled for 2pm, we might be able to
start a little earlier with no meal planned (1:30pm?)

a goodbye Lisa and Joel chicken fest

Lisa and Joel and their little family are going to be given a goodbye and best wishes chicken dinner (I believe the chicken will be done using Garry's grandfather's recipe?) and a DANCE. 6:30pm on Saturday.
