February at the Ranch

Feb 2 6:30pm - Sista's (note the start time is now 6:30pm instead of 7pm to include a meal- the Sistas will eat together!)
Feb 6 11am - Worship service followed by a meal of Soup.
Feb 9 6:30pm - Sista's
Feb 10 7pm - Friday night with the Fellas. Note that this has moved to Thursday nights.
Feb 13 11am - Worship service followed by a meal of Lagagna.
Feb 16 6:30pm - WITH meeting. For anyone interested in the goings on at Rustle.
Feb 17 7pm - Fellas
Feb 20 11am - Worship service
Feb 23 6:30pm - Sista's
Feb 27 11am - Worship service followed by a Rice-a-Roni festival.

As of Feb 1st Al will be beginning a 3 month sabbatical. Sam and Joanne will be covering most of his responsibilities. You can contact them through the links on the sidebar.

Garden poem

By popular demand, Al has released the garden poem featured in his New Year sermon (He didn't write it):

* First plant five rows of peas: Preparedness, promptness, perseverance, politeness and prayer.
* Next to them plant three rows of squash: Squash gossip, squash criticism, squash indifference.
* Then put in five rows of lettuce: Let us be faithful, let us be unselfish, let us be loyal, let us love one and other, let us be truthful.
* No garden is complete without turnips: Let us turn up with a smile, turn up with a new idea, turn up with real determination, turn up with gratitude for a new day.
