this sunday at 4pm we are heading to Lemoines Point. they tell me it is a wonderful place to retreat to. it has water and surf and trees and bugs. sounds mostly good. this is an all ages affair and a low committed one as well. you need only bring your drinks and a salad to share. next is suppling all the grilled fare for us. bring a camera and your sense of fun as there will be games, rides and a special visit from our own the Amazing Gmagic-fun with fruit. he promises to entertain and dazzle.

so wipe the calendar clean and make your way out to the picnic. the three legged race starts around 5. show up at 4pm.

get out and support your local thespians. the young singers, dancers and actors take the rustle stage from thursday-saturday this week. the cost if five bucks. that is the same price as a la tee da tay at starbucks. so save your nervouse system and take in some homegrown talent.

most of you know by now that rustle is a depot for the good food box program in kingston. here's the specs:

How does it work?

• Bring your money to Robert or Karen North at Rustle, 65 Russell Street, corner of Russell and Patrick by 5pm on the Drop-off day and fill out an order form.
• Pick up your order at Rustle between 1-5pm, on the Pick-up Food day.

Any orders not picked up by 5pm on pick-up day will be donated to someone in need.
